Trinity Beach - The Heart of Tropical North Queensland

At Trinity Beach we are situated in the heart of Tropical North Queensland, and are central to any of the popular locations and attractions.  From our site we try to offer a range of tourism information for travellers to our region, so you can base yourself here armed with the knowledge to maximise the enjoyment of your TNQ holiday.

Trinity Beach is located in the centre of the coastal region known as the Cairns Northern Beaches.  This broadly describes the stretch of coastline north of the Cairns City area toward Port Douglas approximately one hours drive north.  The most well-known beaches in this region are our own (and best!) beautiful Trinity Beach, and let's not forget our southern neighbours Yorkey's Knob.  To our North we also have Kewarra Beach, Clifton Beach and Palm Cove.  Of these, Palm Cove has the most tourist infrastructure as it is quite 'developed' in comparison to our beach which essentially aims to cater for travellers and locals alike with a very relaxed, non-pretentious beach lifestyle.  Having said that, all the main beach areas offer a great selection of Cairns Northern Beaches accommodation, whether you are seeking nightlife and couples' relaxation, or a great family getaway.

We're often asked about the best Cairns Beach Resort, and of course this can be confusing for people unfamiliar with the area. Cairns itself is a provincial city rather than a beachside location, so while there is a beautiful manmade lagoon area near the shopping precinct, no accommodation in Cairns itself is likely to meet the expectations of someone seeking a 'beach resort' location.

Consequently the Cairns Beaches accommodation is called upon to fill this need, with properties such as our own Amaroo at Trinity providing a more 'beachside' experience typical of that sought by tourists. The advantage of our location is the most amazing views, access to a great selection of facilities, but away from the throngs of day tourists and sightseeing traffic common in some of the more typically busy tourism thoroughfares.  Trinity Beach has deliberately set out to remain that little bit different, and it is little wonder locals come here to holiday, and that visitors are often regular repeat clients once they have seen our enviable location.

The Cairns beaches accomodation gives you the widest variety of choices imaginable, and even in our sheltered and peaceful locale you can choose from awesome ocean views or self-contained family apartments.  Moving further afield to look at Palm Cove accommodation, you'll see a range of five star international style properties.  From Palm Cove apartments to more relaxed and casual units or holiday houses, you remain spoilt for choice. The typical Trinity Beach or Palm Cove Queensland lifestyle is obvious as soon as you enter the location, when life just seems to take on a whole new relaxed pace.

Palm Cove holidays have always been popular with families, and recently we've found past visitors visiting Trinity Beach as an alternative destination which offers something very relaxing and special in this tropical region.
