Restaurants

Our local restaurants offer a variety of quintessential Cairns Northern Beaches relaxed casual dining.

The closest eatery to Amaroo is Trinity Beach Tavern, just two doors down. Enjoy a casual meal overlooking the beach. Sports bar and gaming facilities available. The Tavern also offers breakfast daily from 8:00am.

Also quite close and accessible via the steps to the esplanade is the licensed Thai Restaurant, Bangkok Rose. Offering authentic Thai cuisine, they provide dine-in or take-away options. Great food!

Pizza Trinity Trattoria is a short stroll away. They are a BYO restaurant offering pizza (and much more) and open from 5:30pm.

Trinity Beach Bar and Grill, on the corner of Vasey Esplanade and Trinity Beach Road are open each day for breakfast from 6:30am to 11:00am. We hear they do great bacon and eggs! Casual meals are available from 10:00am and dinner from 5:30-9:00pm. They also offer take-aways.

L’unico Trattoria on the opposite corner is an award-winning licensed restaurant specialising in Italian inspired cuisine as well as some great local steak and seafood choices. Its great location and casual ambience make it the place for that special night out. It’s also a popular spot for lunch and in the afternoons for coffee or a cool drink on the deck overlooking the beach.

Atlantis, a little further down the esplanade, but still just a pleasant stroll along the boardwalk from Amaroo, offers an interesting menu. This restaurant is open for evening meals and is BYO alcohol.

Blue Moon Bar and Grill are just around the corner and offer an interesting evening menu as well as breakfast daily.


Groceries

Our local supermarket is located in the Coastwatcher Shopping Centre approximately ½ kilometre from here along Trinity Beach Road, and is open every day from 6:00am to 9:00pm. They offer fresh and cooked foods, a great deli section, fresh fruit and vegetables and just about anything else you could possibly need for your holiday! They will happily drive you back to Amaroo with your supplies purchased between 9:00am and 7:00pm. We can also organise delivery of your groceries before you arrive. Just fax or email your order through and we’ll have them packed away so that all you have to do when you arrive is relax!

 Bus Service

Our local ‘Sunbus’ provides a service which will take you south to Cairns or north to Palm Cove. The Bus Stop is on the corner of Moore Street and Trinity Beach Road, only 2 minutes walk. Buses run approximately half-hourly on week days and hourly on weekends and evenings. All day and weekly tickets are available.

 Car Rental

Our local “Cruising Car Rentals” provide guests with excellent service and competitive rates. If you are interested in exploring the region by car, we’ll be happy to talk to you about the many trips you can do, provide maps and arrange a rental for you.  Golf
